Sydney will be returning home from their first ACL win. I think we'll still beat them. I'm going with 1-0, with a late goal from one of our wingers.

I think that we are slight favourites. Sadney has won only one of their past 5 or 6 matches and mentally the players look like they are already working out which shelf in the pool room the Championship trophy will go on. I would not be surprised if we jag a 1 - 2 or even a 1 - 3. That would give those arrogant tossers something to think about; losing to a team from a city with a fifth their population and a quarter of their annual budget - and just prior to the finals.

Except for Adrian coming off very late in the match Sydney's first choice midfield played the full 90 in Korea. Amazing result although they are leaving any hope of progression very late.

Hopefully their travels catch up with them on the weekend and that midfield is dead on their legs for Sunday. Although saying that. They will probably counter that by asked the ref to turn a blind eye while they kick a few of AU's player out the game.

I wouldn't be surprised if they rested a couple of their key players for this game.

My initial thought was thank God we didn't sign him up for more than a season because we would be no chance to sign an injury replacement for him next year.

But then I remembered that was our previous owners' philosophy so probably a moot point.

Although not great news. Luckily Baba looks back to reasonable fitness.

Just a matter of him staying fit which appears to be difficult. Our season rests on the fitness of that Danish fellow who seems to be a handy player.

I felt we were a genuine chance to make the grandfinal with cavusavic, he added an extra dynamic to compliment absalonsen.

We really need baba to hit some form and match fitness but even still he is not that high energy striker that cavusavic is

We look so good with an energetic and smart striker. Let’s hope Baba can start playing more game time because we all know Blackwood just isn’t going to do much for us.

Wait, Shaun Evans is in charge? That's unfortunate.

Yeah, read this. None too happy to see a guy that bounded our front line into a pretty fierce unit. Injury at training - WHY?
