It depends.

They may want to take a low key approach and let this season play out.

I do agree though, even an email from the new management group about their plans for the club going forward would have been nice. I think a level of skepticism is a trait of being a long time aufc fan lol.
I just want to know who they are at this stage. Plans can wait.

That's good. I am keen to hear how they go meeting with the FFSA. That is one relationship that could do with some massaging.

Looks like alot of out merch at the club store is going cheap abd kids tickets are $10 for the next home game.

Not sure if this was already the case but i wouldnt be surprised to see a honeymood period of cheap tickets and merch in the first 12 months

I'm not feeling I NEED to hear from them straight away. I'm happy for them to settle in for a couple of weeks, meet the players, staff, FFA, set up their office, before they send me an introductory email.

I think the last home game was the same.

I think FIFA is about to come in and start all round "massaging".

So Kurz is said to be at the top of sfc’s list to replace arnold next season.

Given kurz is under contract and potentially has deeper pockets to build on his work this season im not sure why he would leave.

Id be disappointed if our new overlords let him leave honestly.

The conspiracy theorist in me wonders why the games biggest media outlet ( foxsports ) would report this when surely guys like rudan , okon and milicic would be just as big contenders

Fox are just stirrers. They'd say anything they thought would get them attention.

Some more info, for those that can read it: http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/fo ... 73bf6ce18a

Its a secret... shutup
“It’s an investor group that will be coming here perhaps twice a year, they’ll be going to the Barossa Valley and they won’t be shouting at the coach who to put on the bench for example,’’ van der Pol said.
“Australia is popular with Chinese people, Qingdao and Adelaide are sister cities and Shandong the province is a sister state to South Australia.

“There is a lot of activity already going on between these two spots.”
Can anyone confirm what the term 'sister state' or 'sister club' actually means?
I know there is some form of partnership, but is it formal partnership, or informal.

Sister cities and sister club relationships have been happening for years. It's just a small legal partnership to promote cultural similarities etc.

Nothing in that instills me with confidence. It'll be different than the previous ownership era but it's still a wait and see as to how they run the club.

Tinkler was big on cheap memberships. As a result Newcastle had better numbers than most HAL sides. Those numbers continued after he left.

One thing I'd be interested to hear, have the new owners taken control of the AUMC? Which operates the AU NPL side.
The AUMC is run out of Griffins Lawyers and has the lease on the Castle Tavern at Castle Plaza which from what I understand is owned (partly I imagine) by the Griffins.
