Split round?
Fair enough...

I believe we can win this.

Dzengis to score on debut.

No teams won't be out til Thursday.

But he arrived at a good time with two weeks to acclimatise.

Expecting him to make the bench.

I like how split rounds are a thing but FIFA breaks aren’t.

Quietly confident in this game.

3rd will be an ACL spot if Sydney win the double. A win at Coopers will have City hearing footsteps.

If sfc win the grand final ( or second place wins the final) then they have already qualified for acl.

The next highest club in the premiership wins acl promotion.

I do remember hearing speculation its up to ffa discretion so they may offer the 3rd spot to the grand final loser if they have not already qualified.

You are right though, the aleague only has 2.5 acl positions, its possible to change each year and im not sure its been announced yet. Given Roar embarrassing the country and asia in the play off round i wouldnt be surprised to find we lose the half spot.

I hope we lose that 0.5 spot. FFA don't take the ACL seriously they need another wake up call.

Newbie makes the squad.

Baba and Johan are not...... time is ticking for these 2 IMO.

I'd start Blackwood and give Dzengis 20 minutes or so. That's the pragmatic option anyway.

Blackwood trained away from the group on Tuesday with Baba, Lia and Johan due to a 'knock'. Not sure if he is fully recovered?
