I feel like most of the blame has to fall on Marco here.
He fielded the almost the same team as last week and got punished for it.
Stama just does not have enough experience to backup week after week and Ochieng's positioning looked wrong every time he was involved with the play.
Blackwood should have started, same with Garuccio.

Adlung and Marrone had shockers, Isa was way down on his best.

Ante should be working his arse off to sign a striker and an AM.

Apo earned his start and let's be honest Blackwood isn't a huge step up particularly off a flight.

Izzo was the only one I would have started and he would have had zero chance of stopping 3 goals.

Not saying he doesn't deserve it, but it would be difficult to backup after the physical and mental battle last week.

The boys probably learned more in this loss, then after a 0-0 draw with the league leaders.

Kurz mentioned pre game all 3 players were very fatigued from their olyroos games and travel.

Kurz put out the strongest 11 available to him

IMO only Elsey can hold his head up after that effort. All our senior players down on form. All our young players unable to back up from last week's effort. All our average players looked useless. A big anti-climax week after last week's battling draw. Would it have made a difference if we'd brought in the returnees? Probably not. The things which would have changed the game were the Stama 1-on-1 and the Blackwood 1-on-1.

Oh well, it's only one game. We're not the second best team in the league (every week), but we're not the worst team either. Looking forward with hope to next week.
