A tough assignment this week. The Jets are in hot form and playing at home. Still, we've looked decent on the road and it appears we have a deep squad to draw upon (and draw we have!). That said, we had a few hobbling towards the end so it will be interesting to see how the squad have pulled up as there may be a couple of niggling injuries being carried.

With Garuccio out and Strain playing well do we move Marrone to the left? Also who is the pick to replace Adlung?

Decisions, decisions.

We shouldnt fear anyone. Havnt been embarrassed by any team, infact we have shown we cab dominate the best clubs in the league.

Only problem is that involves scoring.

We can take them, Baba and Blackwood now both have a goal so will be confident. Miluesnic is still frustrating but he seemed to be a bit better on the weekend.

Lia will probably cover Adlung and Kitto will probably play LB. Not sure who plays LW, maybe Ochieng again despite not being very good last time.

We'll win 2 - 0. The Newcastle Brown Fail have been playing well above themselves, but their injury toll will start biting from this weekend. They should have lost against Perth, but fluked an own (Perth) goal to give an undeserved win. Newy often start seasons well but start tailing off about 1/3rd of the way through the season - and we are just over 1/3rd of the way through the current season.

We don't have high scoring affairs against Newcastle and generally do poorly away to them, so this will be a tight one. But I think the confidence is extremely high now after last week and we can take them out.

I look at Newcastle and they've had the luck that we've lacked. I don't believe they are worth second position over us.

In any case, another must win if we are going to make top 2.

Lia in for Adlung, Marrone and Strain at full back. No other changes for me. Keep Kitto on the wing.

EdDog has it spot on. Bench will be very light on.

It would be a fairly similar bench to last week, wouldn't it? Something along the lines of Blackwood, Ochieng, Margush with Warland in for Marrone and possibly O'Doherty for Lia. Not too shabby.

I think this is a battle for who is the second best team in the competition, I believe it is us and I think we will win because we are the better team. However if they win then they are clearly the second best team.

The big man Reegs is back this week.

Will we see a reshuffle of the backline with one of the traditional CBs moved to left back?

No one in person he back line deserves to be dropped. I'd give Regan 15 minutes off the bench for Gulum if all is going well, or 30 minutes for whoever is having an off night out of Elsey or Gulum if we're having problems.
