No one in person he back line deserves to be dropped.
I agree entirely. Elsey has really shown form, making crucial interceptions throughout each game. Gulum has shown the leadership and finding form. I love Reegs however he's going to have to wait for a drop in form or an injury from the current pairing.

A wonderful problem to have.

It doesn't stop there - I believe Elsey leads the league in interceptions.

Just looking at the stats I could find it is interesting that Isaias is equal third in the league for chances created with 18, Adlung and Garuccio both have created 17 chances. Petratos, 33, and George, 30, are the top two.

Izzo has made the second most saves in the competition behind Janjetovic.

On a team perspective, it is hardly surprising, but surely a sign of some sort of basis in favour of Sydney. They have only 10 yellow cards for the season, 6 less than Perth who have the 9th most, despite having conceded the 7th most amount of fouls in the competition.
They have conceded 4 less fouls than us but have received 11 less yellow cards than us.

I have not found any stats on interceptions.

It was mentioned by the Fox commentator after he made another interception in last week's game against MV.

He has be great so far.

What I like about Elsey this season is that he's worked on his discipline. He now plays cleaner and smarter.

all the while he is still getting under the skin of the likes of berisha. Exactly what a defender should do.

Baba must be injured!

We cannot take a trick.

Lia in for Adlung.
Marrone for Garuccio.
Blackwood for Baba.

Izzo
Strain-Elsey-Gulum-Marrone
Isa-Lia-Konst
Mileusnic-Blackwood-Kitto
