Strain had a decent debut on the right and we can expect to see him once again lining up as RB.
The issue is the absence of Garrucio - do we drop Kitto in the LB role, put Ochieng in there or do we go with a back 3 with Warland-Gulum-Elsey?
Decisions, decisions.

Ochieng is my guess. I think Kitto & Mileusnic will start on the wings & we'll see Absalonsen come off the bench (inshallah).
I really liked the look of Strain, too. Slotted in seamlessly.

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

The thing i like about Kurz is he doesnt mind changing it up to suit the available squad.
Marrone may be back for this game. A back 3 could work with isaias dropping back.
We have no reason to fear Sydney and a win will put us within a touch of top 2, a loss and there is a big gap between us and top spot.

Need Kitto up front, he is the only one who looked like scoring on Sunday. Baba is clearly way out of form, and Blackwood when he came on looked like he'd already played 90 minutes.

I'm actually quite positive about this one. Sadney away from home are much less confident and lose their swagger. A nice 2 - 0 win our way will put a dent in the confidence of those arrogant Smurfs.
Just on the Wallys match - we could have won 4 or 5 nil, such was our dominance. The youngsters were amazing. A little bit of fortune going our way and it would have been a good old fashioned thrashing. I recall just one Wally shot on target, when a header hit the crossbar. Otherwise, they were toothless.
As a by-the-by, the Wally fans are getting very angry and desperate. They have finally realised that their squad is second rate and that not even Gombau can polish the Wally turd. I expect both them and the Melbourne Filth will miss finals.

With Johan and possibly Vince Lia back - and Kitto and Mileusnic firing? I don't want to sound overconfident, but I really don't think so. We always lift at home and Sadney always turn up to Hindmarsh expecting to win and then realise halfway through the game that they have fallen behind -Reality will bite us. I can see us getting pumped 0-4
and to a team that they openly disrespected.

Mick's gotten a 2 match ban (with 2 more suspended) so he wont be available this week.

Re: Preview: AUFC v Sydney 1.12.17
Is what Marrone did really worse than Garuccio's tackle that it deserves a longer suspension?
If Garuccio had received an extra week I would not have complained, although it would have been very inconsistent with what has happened to other players.

Strain really came out of nowhere none but the most enthusiastic adelaide fan has heard of him.Strain had a decent debut on the right and we can expect to see him once again lining up as RB.

He was great last week. That leaves marrone elrich when fit and strain competing for RB. Depth!
On the marrone saga.... this league is so broken. I wonder if they suspended him for the sydney game just to ensure there are no square ups with simon.

The next ball boy that does anything will become the scapegoat.

That would have been difficult as Simon is also suspended.I wonder if they suspended him for the sydney game just to ensure there are no square ups with simon.
