That makes sense. They definitely lost some seats when they changed to the red seats but I think the bigger issue is they won't sell standing only tickets anymore.

Do you mean the drunken womaniser who likes to be called “Rooster”? He really is a buffoon and I usually disregard his antics, however, he has a point. What has happened to the crowd?I hear that the SA Sports Minister has criticized Adelaide United and their fans for not being able to fill Hindmarsh.
Here we go.
They are opening up another front.

I just noticed "his comments" in the tweets on the side of this page.
" There was, he added, no room for spin, showmanship, hubris or “any of the feelings of invincibility” that so often shackle nations with an imperial past ... " - - -

Bit like how Port Power couldn't fill AAMI Stadium, didn't stop the Govt rebuilding Adelaide oval largely for their benefit...
Also shows great lack of understanding of United's position - rebuilding after what was possibly the worst season in the club's history.
But having said that, the drop off is a cause for concern, hopefully improved results will bring people back again.

It’s not just us though, ratings and attendances are down across the league.Bit like how Port Power couldn't fill AAMI Stadium, didn't stop the Govt rebuilding Adelaide oval largely for their benefit...

Combination of things but the league as a whole is just stale.
Really need a couple extra teams say 2018 onwards. Build on some momentum coming out of the 2018 World Cup.
However FFA will be too busy with their congressional crisis to get anything meaningful done.

Not to mention all AFL supporters get free public transport to within a couple of hundred metres walk to the ground.Bit like how Port Power couldn't fill AAMI Stadium, didn't stop the Govt rebuilding Adelaide oval largely for their benefit...

Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie
