Just watched replay of final goal. Offside. But if var was in play I dare say we would have copped a handball penalty
Agreed. Thought the ref was okay tbh.

Either team could have won it but SFC were better IMO.

We got 60 mins out of Baba and Gulum but he rest of our team is very green.

We’re still missing a lot of quality in Absalonsen, Lia and Regan.

Needed some experience on the park late on.

Positive signs.
Regan is not being missed, Lia is not being missed, Absalonsen not playing is a HUGE problem.

Regan is missed, he comes on instead of Warland who looked unsteady again.

Lia I'm not sure, he started well for us but Konsta is the way forward IMO

Not sure what marrone did wrong.

The ball boy would not give the ball, marrone went to grab the ball the kid turned his back which made it look like a tackle , simon whiteknighting gets away without a card.

Marrone asked for the ball repeatedly then the kid turns his back, im sorry but i have no sympathy.

If marrone gets rubbed out for assaulting an official then the question needs to be why was the official so clearly playing for sfc.

Thus will turn into a nedia frenzy, marrone is not that guy. Simon on the other hand ..

I want to see what happened before the vision we have seen. It is not clear whether the ball boy was deliberately denying Marrone the ball, was just unaware that Marrone wanted the ball or whatever. Still knocking a ball boy over is not good.

I seem to remember there was a similar in the EPL a couple of years go, maybe more, involving a star player getting a red card when a ball boy definitely deliberately did not give the player the ball.
What??? They're supposed to throw it straight back to them.

Totally agree.

Surely if they watch the footage they will see this.

If Marrone gets a longer suspension than Berisha the league will show, once again, how much of a joke it is.

it just really annoys me that we cop such soft free kicks that lead to goals. as soon as he called it i knew we woukd concede. never a foul.

Zullo has given his medal to the ballboy quoting “he put his body on the line for us tonight”.

I think this sends the wrong message. The bsllboy avoided giving the ball to Marrone and turned his back. I think Marrone had momentum and couldn’t stop.

It’s not a good look for Marrone and he will (and should) cop a suspension.

But Zullo’s comments and actions are questionable

Agreed it's up to the parents to sort that out IMO. If it was my kid I'd be telling him what he did isn't on and to give back the medal.

The kid clearly denied the player the ball. Then dropped like berisha in a penalty box to milk it. Marrone went at him to hard though and will cop a suspension. But how did Simon get away with nothing after going at marrone by grabbing his throat.

Why was the ball boy limping before the incident? Feigning injury?
Marrone had a bit of a shocker of a game before all that. With Elrich out there is lack of competition for those full back spots.
Matmour has failed to impress me in any game yet, and he was a bit of a passenger tonight.
We played pretty well though and just need a bit more quality up front, although Miliusnic's finish surprised me.

Am I right in thinking an FFA Cup suspension doesn’t carry over to the regular season?

I can’t see why it would. Separate competition.

If marrone really assaulted the ball boy surely FFA must file a police report, right?

Im also looking forward to simon being sighted by the mrp panel........
