I will not posting for a week as my own self imposed ban for making this thread. It was wrong to do so. See you next Sunday.

I could mention how furious I am with this post but when I see who it was from.It is time to sack Kurz
It was a mistake to make him coach, he needs to go.

Re: Sack Kurz
Whether or not Kurz ends up being the right fit, I think a new appointment should always get plenty of time to prove themselves (a full season, unless there is something seriously wrong behind the scenes).
People were calling for Amor's head at this point in our Championship season too, remember.

Re: Sack Kurz
We are below CCM, Wellington, Perth and Newcastle on the ladder....
But on the plus side we are above Victory!
I think our injuries have definitely determined our form. You could see it straight away when Baba came on against Newcastle, he won free kicks, he held up the ball, he bought the wingers into the game. You just don't get that with inexperienced players who'll either fire at will from 30 yards out or become a deer in headlights if they receive the ball in front of goal.
The results will come in time. Give him a season, it can't be as bad as the last one.
Making the FFA cup final and finishing in the top 6 will be acceptable to me.

Re: Sack Kurz
Exactly. There was a huge squad & personnel overhaul since last season, I think expecting us to hit the ground running is unrealistic.
Old imports gone, new players brought in. Whole new coaching setup. Whole new playing style / philosophy / whatever you want to call it. And now a plague of injuries. Patience..

Re: Sack Kurz
Plenty of talk about the style of football we're playing but I thoroughly enjoyed the first 35 minutes of the match on Saturday. We did that a lot last season too and the common attribute is the young players we're using atm.
It should improve, never thought we were realistic title contenders this season but still think we should make the finals.
