Blackwood hit the post, yes, he missed that shot at goal.
Smith excellently saved the header against Wellington.
Nothing like that in the last couple of games.

When one of the injured centre backs returns from injury we may have to throw Ben Warland up there.

I think it has merit. Although I feel a goal that involves Matmour is more likely going to be assisted by him than scored. It seems my idea of play Matmour up front has been quite unpopular.
Blackwood has shown a lot, and the service has not been great, but he has still failed to score and is looking less like scoring with every match. He has failed so far and I don't think playing him up front is going to work in the short term.

Im glad to see Warland stepping up. He's been waiting along the fringe the squad for a few years now. Same goes for Elsey.
I wish Kitto and O'Doherty could get more some more mins while we have a lot of senior players out. Kitto should at least be given a chance to start over Mileusnic, he's looked dangerous in a few of his cameos.
But i have a feeling Kurz will still pick Mileusnic to start this weekend.

I expect Mileusnic to start because he doing some things that Kurz would love. He works and runs very hard, pushes himself physically and gives everything. However I am wondering whether he pushes himself too hard physically and that effects things like decision making and ability to execute skills.

I think we'd all agree Mileusnic needs a rest, its either Kitto or O'Doherty to come in. I really like Kitto off the bench so would love to JO'D get a start.
O'Doherty showed some real promise last year and i thought he'd push on this year but has barely had a look in thus far.

Baba is on the squad list for this game.
Id like to see Mileusnic dropped but it wont happen. I'd like to see Matmour in a CM role this week and Kitto to start on the wing. Konsta and Baba to come off the bench.

I agree I think the cover Mileusnic offers defensively it important. Though I wouldn’t mind seeing he and Kitto trade places and give Kitto 70 mins then allow Mileusnic the last 20 to use his pace against tiring defenders. I feel like that’s such an under-utilised tactic.I expect Mileusnic to start because he doing some things that Kurz would love. Kanstandopoulos has really taken over his spot as a midfielder and it cannot really be faulted because he has been good.I think we'd all agree Mileusnic needs a rest, its either Kitto or O'Doherty to come in. I really like Kitto off the bench so would love to JO'D get a start.

I thought last week when he came on O'Doherty looked sharp and I would be delighted if he starts but I doubt it is happening.

Looks like Baba is certain to at least make the bench as Stamatelopoulos has been dropped from the squad entirely.
Strain and Kristin Konstandopoulos the two to miss out.

Are any of the training sessions open to the members?
