I'm feeling dejavu from last season. Only this time we have a decent squad on paper and on the pitch, unfortunately 50% of our first team are injured. No goalscorer in the front third.

Warland is a big positive, he has come in and made that CB spot his own. Hard to drop him with how well he has played.

Not a bad show for a team with a second string front third.
Is it just me or is foxtel now replaying non calls and controversial decisions? FFA directive maybe!
Asking really coming along

It’s so frustrating with our injury list.
They’re all 3-4 weeks away.
Season could be gone by then, and by that I mean a top 2 finish.
Realistically if you want to challenge we need to be top 2.
It’s not quite panic stations yet but jeez you just can’t see where the goals are going to come from.

Izzo, Warland and Isaias the best three for me. Adlung faded out of it but was great for 70 minutes as well. Elsey another good game, Marrone also. Garuccio was a lot more quiet going forward but was good defensively, that side of the game seems to be improving.
Well that is the back part of the team playing well.
Further forward Blackwood was poor, Miluesnic woeful, Matmour okay until injured, Ochieng did nothing. Kitto was the only forward who looked any good surely must start next game. Might as well give Stamatelopoulos a start up front as well. Lets make the commentators really work hard and put Kristin Konstandopoulos on the other wing if Matmour is out.

Perth Glory 1-0 Adelaide United
There seems to be some positives.
All is not lost.

I get that we had thr youth team out there last night but that was some rubbish football.
Hack it forward at every opportunity, shoot on site and hope something good comes of it.
If the coach was English or worse yet Kossie, people would be asking if we made a mistake hiring him.
At to that our 3 or 4 training sessions a day and then being surprised we have so many injuries.

As I said, with the team we put out I would have been happy with a draw.
After 15 minutes we were lucky we weren’t 3-0 down and facing a 5-0 drubbing.
Mileusnic has the yips. Can’t score. Probably should have had 2 but not up to it.
All in all, 0-1 away after our shitty run of injuries and dreadful schedule is not a disgrace.
If the guns come back we will make the finals and are as good as anyone on the day. Melb Shitty are pretenders.

I agree with Rojos. I find our new style frustrating: it’s ugly, direct and isn’t winning us games so it isn’t effective at all. This is gonna be a long season.

Prior to half our squad going down we were undefeated up until our last two games including FFA Cup and and only lost one game in preseason.I agree with Rojos. The last two games is where the injuries have been the difference. Take out 6 starters from any team in the league and they will get beaten by Glory 1-0 at home.

Whilst win-loss is very important its not everything. When we went 0-8 with Josep we could at least see the young lads playing football and learning.Prior to half our squad going down we were undefeated up until our last two games including FFA Cup and and only lost one game in preseason.I agree with Rojos. This talk of lots of players out is a bit of a cop out.
The only two players missing that would significantly improve the team are Absalonsen and Baba. The rest, Lia, Elrich, Gulum and Regan are not only slightly better than there replacements if they are better at all. The replacements to the first two have not be good enough, that is where the problem is, lack of depth in attacking players.
Blackwood showed good signs initially but, to be blunt, he has failed and should be dropped.
Miluesnic has not improved like we all hoped he would and is still far too wasteful and should be dropped as well.
Matmour has not done a lot, fitness issues have not helped and he might be out injured anyway, but he really needs to be playing better.
There must be changes up front, bring in O'Doherty. Kitto, Stametalpoulos and play them as the front three.
