Confident we can beat anyone.
Expecting at least a point from this.
If we can get to half time without conceding it will be a big step forward.

With our injury list I would be happy with a point.

I am confident in our defence, even without Gulum, Regan and Elrich I feel it is very good. Warland has proven himself more than good enough and Elsey is back to his best pre-injury days.
I am confident in our midfield trio, Isaias, Adlung and Konstadopoulos are a very good trio, although probably lacking a bit of creativity going forward. Lia is not going to improve things in general play, and, although his two goals were brilliant. I am not counting on a repeat, he is far from a proven goal scorer.
I am a bit worried about the front three, Matmour, Miluesnic and Blackwood. None of these three have been good enough. I have enjoyed a lot of Blackwood has done but he is not leading the attack and scoring. Miluesnic is far too wasteful in front of goal, what I was concerned about after the game against Heidelburg, despite his hat trick, really hurt us against City. Matmour looked to be lacking fitness to me against City and needs to up his game.
Overall the team without Absalonsen seems to be lacking that bit of intelligent creativity that he brings to the team, but I am fairly confident we can get a result. We need to find a way to score.

Couldnt agree more Ghost.
Would Chelo off the bench have been any more help this year?

I saw Chelo’s cameo last night and was not disappointed we let him go.Couldnt agree more Ghost.

A couple of “ooooh” moments that resulted in nothing and when it came to the crunch he mishit a few key passes.
I am happy we have moved on. Not easy with a club great, but necessary.

Clear penalty, Keogh was probably going to score anyway.
