Re: WS Wanderers v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!© FFA CUP-Semi-final-
Did anyone else notice two WSW players go down in the box as soon as their last corner was taken?
It looked to me as if they were fishing for a penalty.
Did I image that?
Fark it, "End good, all good", as they say over here.

You know we were hard done by when Robbie and Bozza agree there was no penalty and should have been at least 1 red card.

I think they are under a lot of pressure not to criticise referee mistakes and they were clearly criticising what had happened. You know we were hard done by when Robbie and Bozza agree there was no penalty and should have been at least 1 red card.

Happy to be in the final of course but have a sour taste in my mouth due to how that game unfolded. I sincerely hope we don't find players missing out due to impact injuries.

Wonderful to see justice prevailing here. One side chose to play football. That side won.
Time to Djbate!
Re: WS Wanderers v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!© FFA CUP-Semi-final-
There is no justice when decent people can’t go about their usual business. Our team, with or without injuries, and they seem likely, won’t be able to play in good faith. The precedent has been set and continues to be as long as that kind of stuff is allowed.
(It really irked seeing Josep up in the stands with Gallop and Ange. I wonder what he thought about the brutality – probably didn’t care, just another shmo looking after his job, I guess)

Grant Mayer on Twitter saying that questions already being asked about the ref tonight - obviously nothing will be done about it from FFA but at least it’s good for the club to make a statement.
What’s worse is when they interviewed Adlung after the game who says innocently (paraphrased) “In Germany maybe some of those challenges are red cards but here it is okay”.
And he genuinely believed it and wasn’t trying to be sarcastic or make a point.
What has this league become.

I would totally support a walk off by the team and forfeit. A message needs to be sent regarding the unpunished challenges. It goes back to the double footed challenge from Georgevski on goodwins head a few years back and now we see this week in week out.

The final is on the 21st Nov. No doubt it will be in Sydney.
BUT.
We play Thursday 16th and then Sunday 26th so have the best possible time between for the final.
SFC on the other hand play Saturday the 18th then Saturday the 25th.
Watch them blow up and get it changed to suit them better though.

Correct me if I'm wrong but every year they announce the host after the second semi final. Why the wait this year? I assume to manipulate fixtures to best suit sfc?
