I want to see us lineup like this:

Izzo
Marrone-Gulum-Elsey-Garuccio
Lia-Isa-Adlung
Johan-Baba-Mileusnic

Bench:
Blackwood
Konstand
Matmour
Kitto
Margush

Matmour to come on at 60 minutes. Kitto at 70.
We'll need a defender on the bench. Victory may well up injuring a player early in the piece and if it is one of the back 4 then we'll be in trouble.

I'd do the opposite of most people it seems, i'd play Baba and Matmour at the start and run em as long as they can, then bring on the second stringers, they will perform better against a tired Victory.

Score early and defend for their lives for the rest of the game.

Can anyone buying a ticket take note of the PAX number?

Yes AO isnt ideal for our football but as long as we get 30k+ it'll be a good night, if we dont then how could we contemplate a purpose built city stadium?

Am nervous Troisi will do a job on us and Isais will get sent but grateful Labour brought Bradmans oval in to this century. Should be a good night.

I'll be there. Hoping to bring my son along too. (He flies in just in time.)

I don't mind Adel Oval as long as I get the seats I want. Third tier, Western stand, level with the penalty area - I reckon they give the a decent view.

For those who refuse to ever go to AO - you really missed something special in that Grand Final win. The atmosphere was as good as anything I've experienced (Rugby League, AFL, Hindmarsh), except for the Australia-Uruguay WC qualifier in Sydney.

Certainly Diawarra is at a different level compared to Blackwood, but if his fitness won't see him play 90 minutes then I'd let Blackwood take the kicks in the legs early on and chase down every ball, then bring Diawarra on for the last 30-40 minutes.

Anyone know if you have GA tix whether you can sit anywhere within GA or are you required to sit in the actual allocated GA seat?

I think there needs to be a bit of a plan with three games in a week and Adlung, Matmour, Gulum and Baba perhaps all being a little bit lacking in match fitness. Not sure who I would pick but playing all four might leave us weaker than needed for the following two games.

I'm hoping it's the latter. I have a GA membership (obviously no specific seat connected to that) but have some mates keen to come that don't usually come and it would make things a whole lot easier without seat allocation

In the past it’s been first in, best dressed for the GA seats (no allocation).

Assuming it’s the same for this one.

If the majority of people who boycott the Oval for the view or atmosphere or whatever, came along to the game it would boost the crowd and atmosphere.

Then I would imagine the complaint about the atmosphere wouldn’t exist.

Can anyone buying a ticket take note of the PAX number?
I am going to say there would be panic stations down at AUFC.

PAX 11500

General Admission seat 6500

Oh dear.

As of 20 min ago.

I won't be going tomorrow. Reason being is that the people I go with refuse to go to AO as they have difficulty watching the game (they are getting on a bit and can't see well enough with the distances) , not to mention that any seat with half decent view is $50 or more.
I think the majority of fans have been pretty clear that AO is not a liked venue for our game unless it is a GF, so not surprised if they only get 20k or so tomorrow night.
I'd imagine the following week at Coopers will be packed however.
