Well at least we know kurz does eventually make changes. Albeit for the last 5 minutes after a terrible second half

Ffs hopefully this is just a first hit out that has resulted in such a poor performance.
Really thought we would go for the young unsure keeper instead of this careful play looking for a draw. Disappointing.

As I am also a Crystal Palace supporter I am very pleased with this result. We scored and took a point.

Average game. Players obviously need more time to gel. The wingers had no impact besides the goal. No real standouts tbh it was just a dull and lacking creativity and that final touch sort of game.

Away draw...
I'm ok with that.

Definitely finished stronger although should have made changes much earlier.

Well. Not great. Why we persisted without baba, a proven goal scorer and great in the air against such an unsure young keeper has to be asked of kurz. Can't help but feel perhaps an attitude issue is keepeing him from being in the team. Such a player would surely be a starter.

On to next week and learn from this week. Still believe a top 6 should be in reach.

Sure, we didn't play great but throwing the toys out of the pram in round 1 is a bit much. A draw away to Wellington is a good result, despite the lack of quality. Adlung and Gulum were thrown into a starting lineup untested and without a preseason. They should get better. Only when they don't should you invoke the pissantry

Very average and an unremarkable performance. Solid enough to get a point and match Wellington away - which I expected. But we can tell that with a bit of time to gel, we'll be a tough side to play against. Now we know what needs to be worked on.

Kurz needs to work on his tactical strategies so subs can be brought in earlier and actually have enough time to make an impact.

Bring on Brisbane. Short turnaround but feeling confident.

Matmour had three excellent chances to shoot in the game and everytime failed to do so and then mucked up the pass or cross he tried instead. There was a 18 year old goalkeeper that needed to be tested, Matmour failed to do it. Gulum had the right idea in the last couple of minutes.
Absalonsem (and Vidosic) was very quiet apart from the goal. For a player who has had an excellent preseason it is particularly disappointing.
Blackwood was good, but Baba should have come on. Unless he injured himself once in NZ then it is a ridiculous decision.
Adlung was good, he looks like a real midfield workhorse with a bit of skill.
Miluesnic was quiet, perhaps he and Absalonsem struggled because we seemed to be playing long through the middle the vast majority of the time.

Overall a draw is not a terrible result particularly after conceding early but we need to improve a lot.

Thought Kitto had a strong impact when he came on.

No one is throwing the toys out of the cot, it was just an average game and we will get better as the players gel.

He did have an impact, it was a good substitute.
