Fantastic performance. Second half obviously much better but we defended very well tonight. Kostandopoulous impressed me and so did Blackwood and Absolonsen.

The extra training sessions seem to be working. We look fit and looks like we will run out games better this season, something which was a huge problem last season. Kurz is making his mark.

Where did Konstandopoulos come from?

I think he's a South Aussie, played for our youth team, couldn't get a senior contract so signed for Roar last season and featured occasionally.

That first 20 minutes or so of the second half looked like a different team.

Could have easily had 3 or 4 but just fluffed the last ball.

Troisi and Berisha unsighted in that second half.

Blackwood had a pretty good game, was very nice to watch.

Good 2nd half with Gulum and Matmour not playing. Good signs, just need a bit more depth in midfield and I reckon we might be in for a good season. Kurtz looks like he knows what he is doing too .

Yeah that's right. He's featured in the HAL side for AU a few times before moving to Brisbane.

Very impressed with that 2nd half, we looked fit and as they started to tire they started to get frustrated and commit some pointless fouls. Great goals too.

Mmmmm, might have to buy that 9 game membership now lol. Nothing better than beating a full strength Victory, especially a knockout game, with a clean sheet and we've got a lot more to come with 4 starting players not in the team.
