I was impressed by Kurz post match interview/comments. Provided a little insight into what wasnt working tactically.
I feel we will get more from him than we did from Amor, as much as I like Amor's style, it will be a good change.

Hopefully we can see Marino and Elsey re-signed, They will provide good depth and have decent experience at AL level.

Elsey should not be signed for depth, he should be signed as a the partner to Gulum. He has shown himself to be far surperior to Regan who is not good enough and Warland is unproven. The only issue is recovery from his ACL injury. That he was able to play this game shows things must be going well although the real test might be how he recovers and what effect playing has on the knee.
If we go into the season with either Regan, Warland or Mullen partnering Gulum then our defence is going to be weak.

Val's latest article indicates that Gulum, Baba and Absalonsen will play the next pre-season match against Comets next Wednesday night.
Vince Lia seems to have impressed Kurz with his second half performance where he played alongside Isaias in a 4-2-3-1 formation.
