Tarek Elrich seems to have bagged the board last night which has angered Greg Griffen.
Tarek needs to be commended for standing up and speaking his mind, sound like Greg does not
like anyone rocking the boat and is a bit of a DICTATOR, What is worse is he is a SCROOGE DICTATOR

Question is what is going on at the club, there is no transparency. We have got our coach but no signings are on the horizon and current players being angered and disillusioned by the approach and man management by the club.

All i can say is that with lack of recruitment and lack of respect and professionalism towards past and current players it does not look like we will have a close knit well drilled experienced team which we all desire.

Another disappointing year ahead. Its all and well to keep the club financially viable but if in doing so its causing lack of team cohesion and fielding of a quality/competitive team then what is the point of it all - stay in the league and struggle as a basket case?

One just has to look at why potential players are avoiding us like the plague.

This sort of shit is just getting way too frequent for my liking. Players should be entitled to speak their mind, the way the club is managed affects them more than anyone.
It's not just current players either: ex-Reds like Bruce & McKain have been weighing in too..

I had a quick look but to no avail. It all sounds a bit vague.

Perhaps pent-up frustrations due to the lack of notable signings? To be fair the other clubs have had some decent signings but nothing that has really piqued my interest. Da Silva to CCM was probably the one I would have liked now that McGree is gone, however he was still with Adelaide when that deal was made.

Yes, the lack of a clear objective regarding players and their status is no doubt very unsettling and can introduce challenges in preparing for the season ahead.

Are we meant to be signing players now. Griffin told me that occurs in Jan only. Maybe someone should inform him. Really hoping for Div 2 to come. I think I will no longer follow AUFC then and just follow the new Div 2 team. This club has really become such a joke.

I think the amazing thing about the club is that everyone's expectations are so low right now, yet they still find a way to disappoint the fans.

Griffin's response to Elrich and the way Grant Mayer has attacked people on twitter is so over defensive and shows how out of touch they are with reality. If they'd stop telling everyone that the ship isnt sinking and own up to the problems, then it might actually get fixed.

So once again we are leaving our recruiting far far too late. Ok so for one year I can let it slide somewhat, it wasn't great but I can let it slide, but twice.......

Make no mistake these blokes are very good businessmen. You don't get to be as wealthy as they are if you're not. They have run the business side of our club pretty well to be honest.

But they've shown time and again they cannot run a sporting organisation. They ruined North Adelaide to the point where that club are still recovering, and despite those 3 wonderful trophies they look as if they could do it here.

Because it sounds like the one incident a couple months ago.

I heard about Elrich getting in the bad books and Griffen wanting to dish some punishment on the radio this morning. Their was a mention about a fox interview. The radio station did not go into specifics
