AU International Initiatives

In a time where it feels like nothing is going on at the club. It's nice to hear they are doing something. So many of these sort of relationships result in very little directly measurable benefits that the fans get to see. But the "soccer swap" show sounds interesting.

Obviously it's easy to complain about these and say the club needs to focus on their basic operations before all these things but the club does need to seek out additional revenue streams to this is important to the club.
Persib Bandung officially cooperate with one of Australia League club (A-League) Adelaide United. Is the government of West Java Province and South Australia who took the initiative to bring two elite clubs in each country.

Game can be held in Bandung, or vice versa, can also be implemented in Adelaide. Former Sergio van Dijk club will also provide coaching clinics to the players and coaches Maung Bandung.
In other news.
Like Chef Exchange, Soccer Swap will be broadcast to more than 90 million people, showcasing South Australian locations and talent on a global stage.

The series will be shot in both Adelaide and China’s Shandong province, and feature Adelaide United Football Club juniors taking to the field to compete with a Shandong based football club.

A friendly with Persib would be quite interesting. I didn't realise the squad they have. Essien, Carlton Cole and Seerrrg!

Indonesian clubs are starved for regional football at the moment as they are still on the FIFA blacklist.

Adelaide United is excited to announce their invitation to the Birthplace Cup International Youth Football Championships in Zibo, China in early October 2017.

It will be interesting to see if these youth tournaments AU are involved in secure many young players for the club. It doesn't appear that these players would be signed by the club in any capacity so their existing clubs would probably reap the main benefits of their players taking part. Which I'm not against.
