I think it's the right time.

He's a legend, played his heart out and I've loved having him here. But it really does seem a case of diminishing returns, and age is against him now - plus don't forget the effect of harder Australian pitches on Euro players.

As Philby said, time to find a young Cirio.

Clisby & Pirie wrecked his AU career which I think is doubly sad as he put the hard yards in and got back into the game, only for the club to call time. Sad about this one too.

Maybe it's AUs fault, maybe it's the HALs or probably both but I want my club to behave as a club and it's just not.

So what, results weren't instant this season. This is all just knee-jerk reaction stuff and a big shame. There needs to be more games and more squad space for players like this, Cirio you're class and will be missed!!

Only time will tell if this was a good decision. Lets see who we sign...

One of my fav AUFC players of all time. A new team and new environment and he will be destroying the league again.

Could bite us, hope it doesn't. At his best he was as damaging a winger this league has had.

And is a great bloke to boot. Will miss him

Cirio's best was well past him. I wasn't that disappointed to see him go when I read the news, but with a little thought I think the club would lose little in development and gain a lot in results keeping him and passing on a second year of Kitto.

I am sad to see him go as well, was a great player and leader for us, he was played out of position a lot without any complaints.

The club needs to ensure they find a winger who is a lot better, otherwise this will be very silly.
