Disappointing performance. But defensively not diabolical. Fornaroli is as good as the side will face in Asia so keeping him quiet is a confidence boost.

For me, tonight showed exactly why Carrusca has finished his career. Too slow, too predictable and too loose with the pass. He tried. He ran. He just looked about 50% off the pace.
Not many standouts in a dire game. Eugene showed why we need to keep him. McGree was wound up but still our best midfielder.
Garruccio can actually cross.
In attack, sadly, no-one wants to shoot.

I agree. This match summed up how the side has fared. No one actually creating a situation to shoot. For me, tonight showed exactly why Carrusca has finished his career. Too slow, too predictable and too loose with the pass. He tried. He ran. He just looked about 50% off the pace.

If I was Baba I'd be holding off signing till the club signs someone who can actually find him in the box.
The club needs a central midfielder who can do that. McGree and O'Doherty have shown glimpses of the ability to do that. But both are rarely offered regular match time in that position to do so.

Only watched the first half so no votes from me this week. Eugene and Cirio were standouts in a very poor performance.
Had to turn off at half time, couldn't watch any more, we were so uncompetitive. Plus the SBS commentators pissed me off by not criticising Fornaroli's pathetic theatrics.

Marrone shows endeavour when he pushes forward; I thought he was ok.
