Chelo, Marrone and Hall have all been dropped from the squad. Isaias is still out 'indefinitely'.

Hopefully the boys can take some momentum from the strong showing last night.

Brisbane played away in Asia on Tuesday night so we might have the edge fitness wise.

Shocked by Marrones exclusion as well.

Actually hope Chelo is injured and hasn't just spat the dummy.

Interesting. Obviously we're not going to hear why he's out unless its an injury.
But based on form IMO he doesn't deserve a cemented spot in the side. He's far too inconsistent for someone of his reputation.
I hope the club can sort things out and he can get back on the park and back to the sort of form he showed last season. But I can see this going the same way as Cassio and Ferreria.

Remember that Chelo was left out of the squad against WSW last round and then suddenly ended up in the match day squad on game day. Could just be the club trying to keep our opponents guessing lol. Either that or the club keeping the fans guessing...

I can understand Chelo not being in the squad, but Marrone? Is he injured? A back line without Marrone looks both thin and unbalanced.

Otherwise, I reckon we are in for a strong win on Sunday. The Meow have gone well off the boil and have been smacked by something like 11 or 12 goals in the ACL. It's time for us to start claiming some scalps.

Yeah that was a very strange one as well. Something is up IMO.

2nd time Marrone has been omitted this season, I cant work anything out anymore with the squad selections, the whole club is a mess. New owner rumours around, has to be something in that. No Amor decision by end of Feb, hardly any player signings etc all reek of something going on.

Rumours on the other forum, know little about it personally but it would make a lot of sense based on current scenario.
One is Red Bull, other is Marveggio to buy the others out.

The Red Bull scenario is interesting, but would the FFA not steer RB towards establishing a new club in one of their preferred areas?
No offense Adelaide but it's a hard one to imagine.

But a local benefactor buying his home town club is another story.
The main problem apart from the footballing aspects of owning a football club is you need the mythical "bags of money" especially if you wish to win something and who buys a club dreaming of mid-table obscurity?

As they say a change is as good as a holiday.

Yeah I agree. RB would be far more interested in an East coast side I would think,
