If Maka came on in that last 10 seconds...
Blahblah, we looked composed because they didn't really field a striker

Lachlan Scott is a specialist striker, he might not be that good, yet, but he is a striker. If Maka came on in that last 10 seconds...

Have we ever won a game in a clash strip? I pity the player's mother that has to wash the mud off of those white strips

That's where the smart players volunteer early in the season when the conditions were dry! "Nah I did the washing in Rd 3!"Have we ever won a game in a clash strip? I pity the player's mother that has too wash the mud off of those white strips

Scott, your mate Lachlan is not a striker. He is barely a football player.

Really ?? Baba looked knackered from the get go last night but has looked impressive before that.I like Babalj. Shows so much more than Babawho
Once Babalj finds his touch though I reckon he could be a handy option for next season.

I agree. Baba has looked decent with the limited time he's offered on the ball.Really ?? Baba looked knackered from the get go last night but has looked impressive before that.I like Babalj. Shows so much more than Babawho

I was happy to see Babalj face up to the midfield last night and be an outlet. I don't think he did that once in his last stint at AU.

Re: WS Wanderers v Adelaide United Match Day Jamboree!!!©
Wasnt sure where else to put this but does anyone know why there are no games next weekend?
Edit-
Actually its a split round.
2 games next weekend, 3 the weekend after.
But our next game is the ACL game at home on the 15th
Edit again-
Found an article, its to help the 3 clubs in the ACL this season cope with the extra workload.
Everyone ignore me. I'm ranting.

Is this split round a spur of the moment thing in reaction to the desperate cries for help from Brisbane and Sydney?

The article was from July 2016 and its been set up so that the 3 teams that are in the ACL (providing Brisbane Roar qualifies) have their matches the 2nd weekend of the split round.Wasnt sure where else to put this but does anyone know why there are no games next weekend?

More like a reaction to Sydney FC and MV struggling to be competitive last season in the HAL while playing their group stages of last years ACL.
