Re: Who "will" replace Amor?
From Love to Short if true.
Decent experience in a high level comp, sounds a solid appointment if it is Kurz.
Sounds like his last gig at Dusseldorf was pretty much doomed before he signed with them already in a downward spiral, AU is pretty similar at present

Re: Who "will" replace Amor?
Credit to the club if they can pull this off.
The fact that ingolstadt sought his services at a time when they were an ambitious second division club is probably a good reflection of kurz. While his record is not spectacular he does have some success in a very volitile league.
I think german football is most similar to the aleague ( when compared to spanish, english and italian leagues) so it could be a good fit.
Hopefully he can bring a couple players with him.

If he was indeed in town this weekend, I assume we've taken him to Hahndorf

Now this is a name that is interesting. This type of appointment early on will give us ample time to set-up for the 2017/18 season.

Re: Who "will" replace Amor?
Kurz was a teammate of Paul Agostino at 1860 Munich for 5 seasons so there is an Adelaide link.
His coaching record is patchy but he has had some success. We are not really likely to get a coach with a good record in the Bundesliga so this is probably about as good as we can expect.

I think he has a good level of experience on paper.
I'm disappointed we are not continuing the Spanish style however.
Does anyone know what style or formation he plays?

Here are his trainer stats.
https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/marco-k ... 716/plus/1
4-2-3-1 seems to be his preferred set up...
He was a defender.
And I welcome the move.
A bit of German "straight talking" is probably what the club needs.

Most often and most successfully 4-4-2 with two DMs.
He changed formation around a bit in the season he coached Kaiserslauten to 7th in the Bundesliga, with 4-1-4-1 and 4-3-1-2 being used a bit as well as 4-4-2, 4-2-3-1.

I'm no expert but I know what I like. I'd rather watch Spanish style than German graft, but that's probably stereotyping the football from each country a bit too much.I think he has a good level of experience on paper.

I'll be dusting off my Fawlty Towers episodes.
Major: Hate Germans. Love woman.
Fawlty: what about German Women Major?
Major: Great card players!

Re: Who "will" replace Amor?
Assume we get Kurz and assume he keeps his preferred 4-2-3-1 formation we most likely look something like
--------------Izzo
Garruccio Elsey Regan Marrone
---------- Kim --- Isais
O’Doherty -- McGree – VISA
------------Baba
Galeka (Hopefully player coach)
Mileusnic
Bablj
Carrusca
Warland
--
Kitto
Brook
Should only need two VISA signings, a winger and a CB (along with renewing Kim)

Re: Who "will" replace Amor?
I would be extremely happy with Colonel Kurz. On paper he looks like a good fit.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.
