The A-league has paid a high price for Petkovic's red card 2 years ago.

So was that offside to Nichols? Looked pretty offside from behind the goals

Red card challenge 2 mins in, red card challenge yeloow goven and he scores. We deserved the winBetter team all night. Just didn't take our chances.
Ref was shit and Santalab shouldn't have been on the park to score the winner but we were good enough to win that one.

Ahhhhhrrrrrggggghhhhh. I think sums it up.
This ref has had two shocking weeks in a row. And he was made a pro ref this season.

Guardiola disappeared in the second half, Kitto as well. Henrique did nothing much apart from the goal.
The most worrying part of the second half was that Garuccio was exposed at left back, they clearly targeted him and got two goals through him.
We needed a substitution about the 65th minute but it is understandable Amor did not want to throw McGree or O'Doherty in at that stage.
Overall we started to click in the second half of the first half but in the second half we fell apart again.
Santalab's tackle was a red card tackle, diving and sliding in studs up should always be a red card, the referee made a big mistake.

Clisby did not deserve a red card, he went past the ball to run through Cirio, but it was only a body charge. Unfortunately Cirio was injured but that in itself does not make it a red card.Red card challenge 2 mins in, red card challenge yeloow goven and he scores. We deserved the winBetter team all night. I must have been watching a different game. Thought that was prob what the run of play deserved. Bar the 15 mins at the end of the first half, thought we were way off the pace.Better team all night. Just didn't take our chances.

Good chance I'm full of sh*t though

I tend to agree, we were very good for the second half of the second half but in the second half WSW looked more dangerous although there were chances for both sides.I must have been watching a different game. Better team all night is probably a stretch, but we were good in parts as were the Wanderers.

Absolutely farken robbed. I'm fuming right now. Santalab SHOULD HAVE BEEN SENT OFF and then scores the match-winner. Absolute rort and I hope Evans loses his job and is never allowed to referee a professional game ever again.

I think we have some shape and balance issues, traditionally runs that might have been covered by Isias centrally are now managing to slip through as both he and Holland are pushing slightly wider creating some friction and perhaps a lacking of senior responsibility on who deals with what.
Our play is a little diagonal to wide centric and three CM's all sitting in deeper positions gives a lack of movement into the box with intent ( see jeggo/Mauk).
We will work it out. No doubts.

If we rook our chances we woukd have won regardless of the ref but....
farken seriously ? 2 red cards would be called on aufc any day of the week in that game. Factor in the professional fouls with no cards for wsw but elrich gets one.
Meanwhile guardiola could not buy a foul at the other end.
So much promise though , the young players doing well, guardiola looks the goods, mells and chelo to come back .

Ppl who slap the label of truth on the 1st thing they hear, do it out of ignorance, convenience or cant be bothered picking through a thin layer of falsehood to find the real truth, or possibly even another lie

Makarounas got into the box a few times and had a couple of shots but he, like Jeggo, does not seem to be able to convert them like Mauk could.I think we have some shape and balance issues, traditionally runs that might have been covered by Isias centrally are now managing to slip through as both he and Holland are pushing slightly wider creating some friction and perhaps a lacking of senior responsibility on who deals with what.

I'm going to start a go fund me page to help that ref buy a red card. How santalab didn't get sent off is ridiculous. Great to have the a league back, substandard refs and Adelaide being screwed.
