yeah i dunno about going the whole "old school " logo look, i like them but it kinda feels fake and forced when the club has only been around for 10 years.
I do think our's needs updating but i don't want the club to try and be something it's not.
That's a good point. Although I feel most people are wanting something they feel represents the city and the state a bit more than the existing logo does.
I think the Melb City logo is a good example of older components creating a new logo.

I had wanted to play around with something like this before.
I like the set out, but what to put in each quarter shouldnt just be whats on the adelaide coat of arms. It should represent the club in some way. If whats there does.. then so be it.

In what way? Generating discussion/airtime about AU when nothing's ever going to come from it - perhaps.
But I reckon people at the club might be starting to think about a redesign. Every club does this sort of thing periodically.

Yesterday a Red Army member made a post in their Facebook group as a troll, just to see who would fall for it. A lot of people did. It was a response to Juventus' new logo. I think AU caught on and are doing the same

Don't get me wrong, I'm in favour of an update.

The RA post was an obvious gag. I think the AU one might have been more of a conversation start I think.
