I think a new badge needs to have a nod to the City of Adelaide Coat of Arms.

That second arms with the crenellations and AUFC interlinked. It is quite swanky. You could incorporate the piping shrike if you really wanted behind the shield but I'm quite fond of the simplicity of it.

Love that second logo.Finished off some quick ones based of Parma's badge.
These concepts came up as I was just playing around seeing how some elements from Adelaide's coat of arms/flag could be incorporated.
I ditched the piping shrike in the second one. Not a fan of how I interlaced the AUFC letters, but the general idea is still there. I also added the castle wall feature seen a top of the coat of arms.

I didn't have that much time to do this one, might touch it up later but in the meantime the features in the corners are a tad pixelated.

I know! I was like "alright, more red with this one!". Failed. Its hard to do when you're trying to incorporate the Adelaide flag/coat of arms haha.Last one looks awesome!!

10/10. My only concern is West Ham United would sue us for copying their old logo outline. Apart from that I'd absolutely love to see this on an Adelaide United kit someday.I didn't have that much time to do this one, might touch it up later but in the meantime the features in the corners are a tad pixelated.

Melbourne Victory uses Arsenals shield shape so i think we'll be good aha.

yeah i dunno about going the whole "old school " logo look, i like them but it kinda feels fake and forced when the club has only been around for 10 years.
I do think our's needs updating but i don't want the club to try and be something it's not.
