I was up the back of the top tier of the members area next to the RBB. They were loud and their sound carried well (particularly the drums) due to the amphitheatre effect of the stand. Buy they were easily drowned out by the rest of the crowd at other times.Re-watching the game now. It's interesting that on the broadcast all you can hear is the RBB when at the southern end we couldn't hear them at all. To those at the sides, were the wanderers supporters louder or was it fox trying to get as much noise from them as possible.
The TV producers only have ground level mics to work with, assuming equal spatial distribution would put ~1/4 of them by the wanderers fans despite being far less than a quarter of the crowd.
Unrelated pregame highlight: a friend and I went to grab some food, looking out from the SACA members area stairs you could see civilised Adelaide fans enjoying afternoon snacks on the picnic tables on the lawn and behind them a giant fence holding the undead horde of the RBB outside the stadium.
