but the one that hasn’t got the plaudits it deserves - particularly in the mainstream sporting landscape - is the extraordinary recovery made by Adelaide United.

Well maybe if the primary football "writer" in Adelaide wasn't obsessed with drama-driven garbage and discrediting the club at every opportunity the truth would be more known.

I'd say it has more to do with the fact that fox and twg tend to ignore anything outside Sydney Brisbane and Melbourne.

Thats probably true too, case and point yesterday he gave as much attention to the side winning the comp as he did the half time fight.

The media have also slept on the marquee signing of amor. Since he came here under josep the media really did not care who he was and is still mostly described as just a rookie manager completely ignoring those that he has worked with both in his playing days and time managing the barca youth at la masia.

I do wonder how josep and amor would have been viewed at sfc or mv. Although i think amor is happy to be away from the spotlight.

Adelaide has provided a great chance to further his career whilst simultaneously offering some space for his family out of the limelight. For people of his calibre, Adelaide's remoteness is often a blessing.
