May as well get this started early.

I hear it's a possibility that this will be at Hindy which would be fantastic.

How does everyone feel about the week off?

Obviously good to get all bodies right, however I feel the lack of match intensity next weekend will be a disadvantage. If we play a Sunday semi on the 24th then that's 15 days between games which is too long IMO.

Unchanged lineup is my bet. And great that Marrone will finally make a finals appearance after some rotten luck these past few years!

Considering Tarek, Carrusca, Isaias and Euge are all under some sort of injury cloud the week off is wonderful. I'm sure at this point in the season a bit of a break won't hinder the side. They could set up a practise match with the NPL side if need be.
I think Tarek should come back into the side at the expense of Kamau. He has been good but Goodwin will contribute more on the wing IMO.

Bold move bringing Tarek back for a semi after what will be 6(?) weeks out.

Goody has been immense at LB.

Bring Tarek on in the second half to push Goody up if need be, but don't start him.

Tarek should be fit by then. Its just a question of who will be more effectual on the match? Goody or Tarek at LB both are very good there. So its Goody v Kamau on the wing. I feel we'll get more out of Goody over the 90 mins.

I am a bit divided on this one and much will come down to how Tarek's experience on bigger stages weighs up against the form of Kamau and the way we want to approach the match.

It's a nice problem to have.

Cirio is the one who should drop to the bench if Tarek comes back in. I thought Cirio was good last night but neither Goodwin or Cirio have played well on the RW. I am also impressed with Kamau's all round game, he is not only offering a bit going forward but also getting back well and helping out the defence.

The question has got to be not about reputation or all round ability but it needs to be who will play better on the RW?

Goodwin was absolutely brilliant last night, his defensive work and tackling was of a very high quality. If there is any doubt about Tarek's lack of game time he should start on the bench in place of Dugandzic.

There is a lot of merit to this.

Normally I wouldn't say this (and I know we can't) but wouldn't it be handy if we could give Tarek a run in the NPL side next week to help get some match fitness...

I'm still boycotting Adelaide Oval, and as I've stated before I will even do so if Adelaide host the grand final there. I really hope this game is at Hindmarsh, but I think there's no chance the GF will be there.

100% this.

Marrone has been great going forward as is goodwin. Our final four held out the most dangerous attack the league has ever seen.

Out elrich on the bench incase we need to oush goodwin up but imo elrich should not start for the rest of the season unless a player is forced out by injury

I'm with you in the first finals. However it makes sense for the gf to fit a big crowd. But any other final should always be at coopers to help the stadium our fans and team.

It's a good chance this game could now be against our helpers tonight.

Still at Hindmarsh ?
