Preview: Melbourne City vs Adelaide United, 8/4/16
It is a big game. City are excellent, the best attack and the defensive problems seem to be in the past.
They beat us here, but we are 9 without a defeat on the road, 4 away clean sheets in row.
Hopefully Elrich is back so that Goodwin can be pushed forward and Cirio to the bench.
IT IS GOING TO BE GREAT BECAUSE WE ARE GOING TO WIN.

You know there is plenty enthusiasm about the place when the preview for the next week comes up whilst the players are still in the showers from the previous game
We will need some better communication between Eugene and his defensive line next week. There were a couple of passes back to Eugene that City would have pounced on.

Even if elrich is back next week he wont start. It would be wise to prepare for a deep finals campaign and guve him some match fitness late.
Goodwin has been good at the back and last time we played city we were threadbare. It will be a very different game next week.

Plus we wont have an experimental back 4 and will have carussca ( i think we were also missing isaias ? )Especially if they don't get a result in Perth.I can't see City sitting back again. It will be a very different game next week.

Isaias came on as a sub (his comeback from injury). The 2 were never on the pitch together.Plus we wont have an experimental back 4 and will have carussca ( i think we were also missing isaias ? )Especially if they don't get a result in Perth.I can't see City sitting back again. It will be a very different game next week.

Re: Preview: Melbourne City vs Adelaide United, 8/4/16
We can definitely win.
We'll need to be at our absolute best. Play simple and smart. The midfield will need to be very active as, like last time, they'll give us a difficult night trying to get the ball out to our wide areas. I'd expect us to play narrow, allowing us to close down their attacks as a whole team quicker.
I can't help but feel that our good record at AAMI Park will continue.
This is it.

Great that it has all come down to the final game.
So glad Isa will be back for this one - he was a massive out when we played them at home.
Don't know if I will be able to watch this game with the premiership on the line!!!

The fact it all comes down to this last game for our chances of the premiership is awesome. This will be a very tight affair as its like a gf. No open play which helps because city are so damaging when it's open. Our defence is the best in the league and they havnt scored freely.l against us. I got us for the win in this one.

I dont know why everyone fears city so much.
Sure mooy fornaroli and novillo are dangerous, but city are as erratic as they are good.
It will be a tough game but city do not deserve the respect we are giving them. If anything they will likely fear us more then our players fear them

Purely because of the fact they have the quality to score so easily.
They can play poorly yet still put 3 or 4 past you.
We don't have that ability.
