Come on guys. We had a bunch of possession and plenty of space but seemed rattled by the occasion. There was a lot of good movements. SVD on please, Djite is a good hold up player but we need a striker.

Goodwin should not be on the right. Pablo or any other actual right winger would balance us up but I guess we don't really have one. Kamau?

They have some next level defenders.

Goody, Cirio and Bruce haven't even had a sniff.

Goodwin isn't looking anywhere near what he does in the A League. I guess we are in a position to hope that one of Shandong's players on yellows do something stupid...

Anyone see the positioning by Elsey and McGowan for Tardelli's goal? Comical.

Can see Elrich getting a second yellow. Getting skinned and having to do a lot of defending.

some observations:
* Both Adelaide's "inverted" wingers aren't being allowed to cut inside, so are just regular wingers on the wrong side.

* The Shandong defence is extremely deep and Djite is getting sucked back with them and though he seems to be winning his position, he's too far forward to hold up the ball in midfield like normal.

* Mauk can't/won't/is told not to put in the "hard yards" Jeggo would. So when the Adelaide full backs do what they normally do and get forward, there is one less defender than earlier in the year (2 weeks ago), for when the ball comes back the other way.

Who's their right winger giving Elrich a bath?

Very impressive.

I'm not looking forward to the inevitable time wasting tactics.

Elsey so much out of his depth it's ridiculous.
