Johan Absalonsen retired a month or so ago.

I guess he'll go down as one of our "streets will never forget" players.
Sadly if we had to dough that Victory or Sydney have a player like Johan would have played for AU for a much longer time I feel.

George Blackwood has been coming off the bench recently for Oldham after a long spell out hibernating during the UK winter.
But Harry Kewell got the bullet the other day, so George will have to impress the new boss if he's to get back in the team who are placed 16th in League 2.

Riley McGree hasn't started a game for Birningham City since 2nd Jan. and has been an used sub in 9 out of the 12 matches since.

A rather worrying stat when considering that Brum have only won 3 out of those 12 and currently sit one place and 3 points above the relegation zone having played 3 more games than the team below them.

Disappointing re McGree. One of Australia's brightest young attackers and needs to be getting game time for his development.

Come back to AU where you can play every weekend.

Michael Maria has been selected in Curacao's Gold Cup squad as has Perth Glory defender Darryl Lachman.
