Where are they now?
I thought we already had a thread for this but I couldn't find it...

Unfortunately they've already been eliminated from World Cup qualification losing to the powerhouses St Vincent and the Grenadines :'(

Re: Where are they now?
Cool thread
Andwele Slory (nicked from Wiki)
Slory returned to Netherlands and played with amateur clubs BVV Barendrecht and VDL Maassluis, while completing his coaching course. More than 3 years after he last playing professionally, he signed an 18-month professional contract with Eredivisie club FC Dordrecht in January 2015, after having trained with the club since August 2014.
Jason Spagnuolo
Has given up football entirely to pursue a job in real estate. Actually looking for a house for my sister at the moment
Miguel Palanca
Currently playing (well he hasn't played a game this season but contracted to) Spanish second division outfit Gimnastic
Yevhen Levchenko
According to wiki, was a participant of the Russian version of the bachelor
Anyone know how Qu and Fernando Rech are doing nowadays?

I was always so sad that Spags went from player of the season to being cut the follow one.

Re: Where are they now?
love the Levchenko one. I wanted to keep following him on twitter after he left but he only tweets in Cyrillic these days.
However, a quick look at his feed reveals he now has a book about him
Anyone that can read dutch should get in to it!

Re: Where are they now?
I think GA posted a while back (after talking to Cassio) that Alemao has become a catholic priest.

Re: Where are they now?
Romario is now 49 years old. He is heavily involved in Brazilian politics. From Wiki:
In the 2010 general election, Romário was elected to the Chamber of Deputies on the Brazilian Socialist Party ticket. He was the sixth most voted candidate for deputy in Rio de Janeiro.
He pushed his political agenda against the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil, denouncing the event as immersed in corruption and money laundering. He also expressed disagreement with Sean Kiley, Ricardo Teixeira, Jérôme Valcke and Sepp Blatter.
He is one of various figures claiming that the holding of the 2018 FIFA World Cup was "stolen" from England and sold to Russia in a part of 2011 scandal by FIFA.
On February 19, 2014, Romário announced that he would run for the Brazilian senate in the 2014 general election, and the decision was officially confirmed in June. On October 5th, Romario was elected to the Brazilian senate with the most votes received ever by a candidate representing the state of Rio de Janeiro.

I heard a couple years back from Blazincic that Qu was rolling in the cash in China. He's treated as a rockstar over there apparently.

Look who's there alongside Gombau in Spain with the U21s
Glad he's still coaching (though I assume it's part time)

About time really. Almost 50% of the keepers that have played with the youth NTs are students of Peter. Makes sense that they all are now!Look who's there alongside Gombau in Spain with the U21s

Johan Absalonsen retired a month or so ago.
I guess he'll go down as one of our "streets will never forget" players.
