Game stopped due to bad weather.

Pretty ordinary conditions, but once again Latsko scores for the lady reds! 0-1 up after 23 minutes.

Great goal to the Lady Reds, 0-1.

Route one, but a well won header, and great strength by Latsko(?) to hold off Alana Kennedy (who's plenty strong herself), and a clinical finish.

Rats. An excellent goal to Sydney for 1-1.

However, it was in "Fergie time" (2:45 into 2:00 of time added to the first half) and followed what should have been a free kick to Adelaide for a clear foul in the lead up play.

Its been a crazy game, now the lights have gone out on one side (I guess it was set on a timer and not anticipating the hour delay due to rain).

It's 3-2 to sydney after 73 mins, with sydney just taking the lead before the lights went. Latsko with another goal for the lady reds.

Sydney dominating the second half, went up 2-1. Too much space given in the penalty area and a loose ball falling to a Sydney player.

It felt to me like Adelaide were starting to struggle physically, leading to them being caught out of position time after time.

Adelaide responded well to going behind and created an excellent goal (quality cross and great header) to make it 2-2.

Sydney still dominant scored again in a disappointing manner. Corner pushed onto the post by the AU keeper fell kindly for a Sydney player to tap in with the AI players looking like statues for 3-2.

A second Adelaide equaliser looks unlikely, but this team has a lot of heart, so you never know.

(Or I might have got the two Sydney goals the wrong way around. Apologies if I did. Writing this during a delay in play due to the lights going out. 15 minutes to play.)

I didnt get to see the game after the lights went out, but the 5-2 end result seems very harsh on the lady reds.

Was a crazy end to the game last night, but the Lady Reds held on to win 3-2 over Victory! 3rd win of the season.

They held on.

Fair bit of quality in this Lady Reds squad this year. Latzko would have to be one of, if not the best player going around.

They also have a fair bit of fight in them, and that always keeps them in the contest. They've rode their luck in a few games but when you play like they do you make your own.

I tell you what, if you thought last night was a smash and grab...... the girls were down 2-1 into injury time thanks to an own goal..... pinched it 3-2 !!!

They are flying this season!

It was almost the exact opposite of the mens game the night before until the end.

Looked good in the first half but had no reward and were unlucky to be down 1-0, then had a great second half, equalising and looking like they were gonna take 3 points when a defensive error seemingly handed 3 points to Newcastle. But they pressed on and unlike the Jets in the mens game, were able to score two in injury time to win.
