NYE looms as a massive match now. 3v4, they are only a point behind us. Reasonably confident we'll steal the points though.

This will be a good win to us - either 2 or 3 nil our way. The Coopers Cauldron is traditionally a graveyard for Wellington and everything must go absolutely right for them to win here; likewise, everything must go horrendously wrong for us to lose to WP at Coopers. With Burns and Krishna out, their two best attacking options are out, which means that they can kiss the possibility of a win goodbye.
I expect Ernie the Milkman to adopt the 'stay small, hit on the counter-attack' model that the other, lesser teams have adopted against us, with varying levels of success. As long as our makeshift back three stay strong, then it won't work and Cirio, Bruce, Pablo and Mabil will tear their defence to shreds at the other end of the park.
I don't want to be overconfident, but we are really hitting our stride now and becoming ruthless in disposing of the lesser teams. The scary thing (for the other clubs) is that we are still only in third gear. How good will we be once we have a full squad again at the end of January?

There were some highlights posted of the nyl match vs wanderers a week or two ago, where warland looked good and composed carrying the ball out of defence.
I'm keen to see him, ochieng and smith get a taste in the seniors, might be a good opportunity this week

I actually like test cricket but 20/20 is an absolute aberration.20/20 is on at ao , same time.

I think it will definitely affect the crowd so anything in excess of 10k will be a win.
