I really hope AU promote this. Its a wonder opportunity for the club to stay relevant during the HAL off-season. As well as doing more to promote the local league to a wider audience.

Thats the current NYL squad so I would expect many of these names to be involved this season. Although for players like Costa and Kamau it would be a bit of a step down compared to NPL but for others it would be a step up.

Charlie Devereux would be one player I'd be keen to see AU sign as he's already represented Australia at U16 level not long ago.

It must be a little tough as some would still be contracted to npl clubs in the winter.

From what I've heard the players involved will be old enough to play NYL next season.
I don't think any players that are involved are going back to another NPL club in the winter except for the few that sadly get cut.
I saw that Ange Costanzo mentioned on twitter that they had worked out who the squad is. Hopefully an announcement isn't too far away.

AU YT are playing AIS on Sunday. Not sure where yet.

The AU YT reserves beat WA reserves 2-0 in a friendly last night. Nicholas Polli and Blake Carpenter scored.

AU NPL reserves beat Campbelltown reserves 2-0. Yannis Nestoras apparently scored both.

From what I've heard they are getting promoted regardless of where they finish this season. Something that has certainly stirred up the locals. I'm not a huge fan of it personally.
