Adelaide United v Western Sydney Match Day Jamboree!!!©
There seems to be a trend of different WATR-ers starting our Jamborees up from game to game nowadays. If you'll all bestow me the honour of starting today's up myself, then...here it is!
Big game for us and for WSW, which is why today will be no walk in the park. To consider the match in isolation, both sides are coming off a loss.
We have twice defeated Western Sydney, both being 1-0 wins at home. They are in extremely poor form and won't want to go any more games winless after a rather productive first two seasons in the league.
I think the match will begin very evenly, and the first half may be scoreless. The second half will see the floodgates open though, and we will win 3-0. Elrich to score against his former side? Goodwin for a debut goal? Cirio or Bruce back on the scoresheet? Mabil to make it two from two? All possibilities that I get an inkling feeling to happen tonight.
Nonetheless, Malik is a significant loss, even if McGowan can cover sufficiently (he's only been out of the side because of Malik's incredible form). If Popovic watched how MV played against us, they will suffocate us down our left, so I would expect Marrone to play an important game down the right.
COYR!
SQUAD (two to be omitted):
1. Eugene Galekovic (C) (GK)
2. Michael Marrone
3. Nigel Boogaard
4.Dylan Mcgowan
6. Cassio
7. Pablo Sánchez
8. Isaías
9. Sergio Cirio
10. Marcelo Carrusca
11. Bruce Djite
14. Cameron Watson
16. Craig Goodwin
17. Awer Mabil
18. Jimmy Jeggo
21. Tarek Elrich
22. Fabio Ferreira
24. Bruce Kamau
30. John Hall (Gk).

The real measure of Elrich's improvement this year will be if he can keep his head against his former side - something I don't think he was able to do last season.

Good morning Adelaide.
It's still Friday night here in Perchtoldsdorf and the Women's FIS Down Hill from Lake Louise is on the TV.
The Austrians are hoping for another good result from their team.
Lindsay Von, the US ski star is coming back from a long injury lay off...
Hell, it's not match day here yet,

3 - 0 to us. Mabil and Cirio to score from freeplay and either Goodwin or Carrusca to score from a deadball situation.
The question then becomes - does Popovic become the next coach with his future under a cloud? Interesting times indeed.

I feel this is a danger game, but tbh, we should win at home.
For me, CB is now a real issue. Elsey and Malik out, if we get an injury to McGowan or Boogaard we are really screwed as most likely, Marrone will have to play there. I think we need to utilise the vacant spots on our list now.
WSW are flying out tomorrow, maybe a bit distracted. I think that we can win 2-1, Bruce and Cirio to score and Juric for the WSW. I thought we outplayed MV besides the first 25 minutes last week, so our form is ok.

With Malik out, we could go back to the 1-3-4-3 formation.

Judging by JG's prematch, it will be standard 4-3-3 but you just never know how he will actually get us to lineup on the day!

Starting line ups are out. Mabil to impact from the bench. Seems we will play 4-3-3
