Adelaide with 2 good chances at the end there. Reddy should have been a red? Maybe I dunno

Just couldn't get that damn 3rd goal at the end!!
Did what we had to do, looking forward to the big game next friday now. Hopefully Carrusca and Elrich are ok to go.

Straight red. Ref bottled it.
We still can't finish games off.
But three points away from home without Carrusca or Bruce is a good three points.
Win against Victory and this season shapes as our best ever.

Pretty average... thankfully CCM were well below average. Good 3 points but football was not the winner.
As for Reddy: professional foul (using the term 'professional' in the loosest sense) but not the last man, are you sure that's a red? If an outfield player did that surely it wouldn't have been.

All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

Happy to take a scrappy 3 points at a place where it feels like we haven't won in about a million years.
As for most games involving the Mariners, also happy to erase the memory of it happening from my mind fairly quickly.

Of course. One yellow for a deliberate trip and a second yellow for forgetting which code of football he was playing. I've never seen an embarrassed goalkeeper take out an opponent like that and I'm sure there isn't a rule that fully covers it but deliberately cheating by using your hands because you've made a stupid mistake should go into the rule book as a red.
Mind you, we were a little lucky with a couple of penalty calls.

Fabio came off for Awer at HT yeah? Hope it was just coz we were 2 goals to the good, I really want him starting against Victory..
A boring affair in all aspects of the term but a solid away win, the kind championship sides win
Very happy for Pablo opening his account

Only watched the first half and very scrappy. 2 goals out of pretty much nothing but we haven't won like this in a long, long time.
Good to see Pablo get on the scoresheet.

RE: the Reddy professional foul;
I think the rule is based on if it's a clear goal scoring opportunity.
That's why it's normally focused on whether or not it was the last man doing the foul.
After Goodwin beats the keeper, it's a 3 on 2 with no keeper. I can see a strong argument for it being a straight red for fouling in a clear goal scoring opportunity.
