Reality is that most of Fox's money comes from East Coast subscriptions so commentators that reflect this bias are engaged. I used to love listening to Dom & Alby on the radio whilst I had the live-stream going (rough as guts back then). They were also bias, but in our favourI think Fox Sports need to get some new pundits and commentators for when Sydney are playing.

Big bustling Bruce saves the day. Cirio, I am going to the TAB and whacking some money on that boy to be top scorer, he is an animal.
It was concerning in the second half when they kept pressing us, there was a bit of panic creeping in, some Boogard back passes that were just snuffed out by Eugene. Got lucky with that red card and for once capitalized and took the game. Bring on the semis!

Oh there's no problem with bias so long as you're playing to a particular audience, but Fox are broadcasting nationally and should take a national perspective.Reality is that most of Fox's money comes from East Coast subscriptions so commentators that reflect this bias are engaged. In a match between Liverpool and Manchester United you wouldn't stack a whole BBC panel with Mancs would you?
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.

It makes you wonder what they would be saying if Brosque was on the receiving end of that tackle. They seemed to be fapping over Brosque like he is some sort of superstar.

Brosque is much better than I remember him. That was a very classy goal too (shithouse defending though, especially from McGowan to leave his man free).
I like to think that if Adelaide had been on the other end of that I'd cop the decision, the red was there to be given.

The other issue with Fox is the one pundit they have that people would expect to be pro-AU is John Kosmina. Who else could they get though? For that we have local pissant football politics to blame IMO.

Even non-au football fans on other forums are complaining how pro sydney fox were.
Ffs, they only got 3500 to allianz after selling it out the weekend before. Where were all the die hard fans who supposedly bleed blue and jump the fence to get on the pitch from supposed pure passion .

True, if the neutrals are complaining then it is overboard.Even non-au football fans on other forums are complaining how pro sydney fox were.
Maybe I've just become so used to it through so many different sports that I've been somewhat inured against such bias.

I've been scanning some of the Sadney fan forums and some of their fans had already awarded themselves the treble before last night's match even started - the FFA Cup, the Premier's Plate and the GF. Now Sadney has fallen at the 1/4 finals of the first test. How stupid those fans must feel now; maybe this would be a good time to point out that the Sadney board had first choice on recruiting Josep Gombau 2 years ago and passed him over for Frank Farina?
"Hang on, lads; I've got a great idea".
