He's had quotes recently. He gets them at post training interviews usually. This season the club has been pretty good at posting the video up online so have been able to make my own decisions on whether things have been interpreted correctly.

You're right though, he's been positive because there's nothing to be negative about!

Which is hopefully great news on the carussca front!!

If val had any minor leaks that carussca was leaning towards another club he would still be writing about it.

Some people just want to be negative though. And I guess if you're paid to share your 'expert' opinion it might be a little embarrassing to admit you got it wrong.

I assume that's the deal with Val and Kossie anyway. Pushing a particular line right from the start (which looked intelligent to some when they weren't doing well) and now they don't want to eat their hats.

I have a mate who has been critical right from the start. I asked him on the weekend what he thought now and he said about how inconsistent all the teams outside of the top 4 are and how we still haven't won 3 on the bounce (I guess if hypothetically we had won 3 in a row when I asked him he would probably have said 'we still haven't won 4 on the bounce').

Kossie is going on about 'pimply faced nerds' voicing opinions on the Internet.

What about fat, deluded wankers holding grudges sniping away in newspapers?

Without those pimply faced nerds he would be irrelevant

Also he was happy to sit behind his typewriter and sniper rini from the word go and score a job out of it.

What is more dangerous ? The "pimply faced nerd" behind a keyboard who wants the best for their club ?

Or the egomaniac who desperately has a point to prove to everyone and is scared of becoming irrelevant as the game passes them by ?

Which one is more likely to kick start positive changes ?

Haha! Really I wonder how much credit Kossie deserves for Chelo, Flecha or Jero? Obviously Kossie wasn't out on some scouting mission in the HAL offseason. Petrillo surely would have had much more to do with bring them to the club, and I dare saying signing him also. Would the club actually allow a care taker coach complete say over signings?

This is a question I have no idea.

Kosmina did have a say to some extent. He is the one who wanted certain players (e.g., 'left footed striker' - Jero, and so on). I know he had a big role in landing Ferreira, everyone talked about Hersi but Fabio was last season's unearthed gem.

When Flores left, AU mentioned that 'Petrillo would be sent back to South America to check on the progress of other players'.

Compare the imports Rini wanted and got - all players that really failed to fit in, besides Usucar - with those that Kosmina signed.

That's probably why it took the club a while to sign Flecha and only gave him a 1 year deal to begin with!

If kosmina wants to take credit for Chelo then surely he must take credit for attempting to sign dexter Rosales

Kossie was in charge, he deserves the credit. Just like he deserves the criticism for the things that went wrong under his watch.

Personally I don't think all the credit. But sure some of it.

Stop being so outrageously reasonable.

Lest we forget that Kossie actually pulled us out of a deep hole. He just reaches the limit of his coaching capacity quite early these days.

But yes, it would be nice if he could just appreciate what's going on instead of referencing everything back to himself.
