Reds commit to local talent for the future

Postby Stuckey Sat Sep 28, 2013 3:10 am

From the start of next season, Adelaide United FC’s on field future will carry a distinctive local flavour with the club delighted to announce it has secured a quartet of young home grown talent to senior contracts.

Reds Youth Team goalkeeper John Hall and three South Australians based at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) – Mark Ochieng, Dylan Smith and Ben Warland, have all signed two year contracts with the club for the Hyundai A-League 2014/15 and 2015/16 seasons.

Wow big news. Seems like some players must be moving on. Must be part of securing them as part of the NYL squad. The club has complained previously of their NYL player moving on after they finish up the season this locks them in.
Now we just need to hope they have good NYL seasons! Although the club is more then aware of John Hall's talent.
Time to Djbate!
