Preseason Matches & Lineup Speculation

Looks like the first preseason trial match will be against Cumberland United on 30/7...



Anyone know if other matches have been pencilled in?

I'll head down, I made it to all but one pre-season hit outs last year, good fun to watch, especially if we have a couple of new boys coming in.

Might be a good thread to talk about lineup speculation as well....
I think if Gombau goes down the Barca 4-3-3 route we might start off looking something like this (given our current squad)....

Weaknesses RB and LW I think. Though if a new, solid centre mid is brought in it brings in the option of playing Malik at fullback, which he did brilliantly when required last season.

yes its val, but there have been plenty of things that val has written about that people write off as BS, only to find out down the track that it was correct. Like cassio being hours away from signing with a K-league club etc.

Also that article says a major A-league clubs biggest sponsor is rumoured to have not come through on it obligations, almost guaranteed to be solarshop id had thought?

Hopefully it's Webjet with Sydney FC, just so they can get someone new. Has to be the worst front of kit sponsor I have ever seen.
