^^ Hahahahaha we may have a chance of getting a clean sheet now.

Fingers crossed Golec has a screamer and Mr V cannot possibly leave him out for the elimination.

Very true Stuckey, management this year has seemingly praised mediocrity with their selections. At the start of the season when Boogard came in for Golec, Kosmina said it was purely down to Boogard being a better talker. Players who weren't putting in 100% didn't seem to be punished, Kostopolous played how many games this season? Fyfe and Boogard have been terrible at the back and still get selected.

I think Kossie gave far too much attention to players with so called 'warrior' traits. Which seems insane when I think that McKain is probably the biggest 'warrior' we have ATM.

He may still play Saturday Phil, if Heffernan is having a good game we might bring barbs on to knock him out.

According to Fox there will be no Cassio, Juric or Carrusca. So no finals for Sydney this year.

No Cassio, Juric or Carrusca. Barbiero will get a start won't he? We are stuffed.

Just watching WSW v Jets right now. Can't help but enjoy Wanderers playing. Popovic is a flawless manager in my eyes. Built a great team starting with a defense and a strict hardness at the ball. They play some nice football too. Topor-Stanley and Beachamp are class and today they have Cole and Elrich at LB and RB who I think are fill-ins. Even that's a quality back four.

We've spoke about "depth" and how we have such a great squad. I don't see it. Our constantly rotating defense, and it isn't particularly good, has been a big concern this season. We have to swap plodder for plodder. I don't like any of our defenders bar Cassio and until our defenders are out of contract, we will still leak stupid goals.

We really need a strong leader CB which I guess is what we were looking for when we signed and captained McKain but it didn't seem to work maybe due to Rinis other issues which reflected badly on McKain. However I still think he would be a good leader at CB, 100x better than Boogard.

The only trouble I have with McKain is he seems to have a screw loose. Gets early yellows every time he plays and then he has to back off for the rest of the match.

We've lacked that 'boss' CB ever since Sasa left.

I think given time - and more than he gets currently - Golec could develop into this role.

I know it is bad form to go for the Glory, but as we have not much to gain tomorrow, i would like to see a 4- 0 Glory win.

I don't want MV as coach long term, and I would love to see Griffin out of there. The amount of shit coming out the club last few months is unbelievable and I have had enough of the amateurs running the show which goes from the Chairman to the coach atm. :bang:

I'm sure they probably train more than a few hours a week like our lot as well.

We've needed a RB for a few years, yet Watson, whose proved that he'd struggle in the NPL still gets the gig, even in front of Malik, whose like 1,000x better.
