Re: Adeleiade United v Central Coast Mariners
We should have Fabio and Bruce in contention, the big concern is our central defenders. Fyfe and Boogs have no hope of keeping Duke and Ibini-isei in check.

Re: Adeleiade United v Central Coast Mariners
Fyfe and Boogs are not world beaters by any stretch but they're good solid pros, if the right mentality is in the squad and there's good communication across the backline we should be fine.
All I need is some tasty waves, a cool buzz, and I'm fine.
Re: Adeleiade United v Central Coast Mariners
As sh*t as our backline is, it doesn't help that we rarely have any midfielders helping them out.
Half the time it's the opposition attackers running freely at our back 4 without a pressure in the world.

Any idea who Arnold will rest, is it too much to ask for Ibini Mcglinchey and Bojic to be rested
i predict a solid 2-1 win for AU as the mariners won't be going 100% in this one.

I doubt there is a single player on the CCM team that they could keep up with. Not looking forward to the foot race between Fyfe and Duke.

By Ray Gatt
The Australian
March 21, 20138:19AM
Angry Central Coast players are prepared to take strike action over the failure of the club to pay their wages on time.
The dramas at the embattled Mariners escalated after club officials again failed to come up with the money to pay the players their overdue monthly wage, which is now five days late.
The Australian, which broke the story of the club's financial battle earlier in the week, was told the players, who had been promised payment by Monday or Tuesday, met on Wednesday night in a bid to force the issue.
It is believed the players will strike, including not attending training and even boycotting matches, if they don't receive their money by close of business on Monday. Professional Footballers Australia is expected to issue a statement, backing the players.

As long as they don't take their frustration out on our players' legs. Could be a busy Monday morning for the AUFC medical team.

Not the A-Team but the B-Team.

Re: Adeleiade United v Central Coast Mariners
No complaints from me about a B-Team.
I'm tempted to take what follows as a big sign. In indoor tonight we ended a hoodoo streak against this team we could just never beat. It's our first win over them, ever. 6-3 too!

Re: Adeleiade United v Central Coast Mariners
Hopeful to watch this one but it looks unlikely.
Saw CCM play Sydney weekend before last and was very disappointed. Hopefully that sort of side shows up this weekend!
