Apparently Spiranovic has been a free agent all year. Definitely worth looking at.

He would be a great signing if we needed a starting CB, perhaps we could have signed him instead of Jakobsen. Unless we are going to with a 3 CB setup at the back, then having all of Spiranovic, Jakobsen, Elsey and Regan seems to be a bit much. I know Jakobsen played a bit at LB and DM for City but his best position is CB, we have 2 DMs and I am not sure he was ever that good at LB.

Adama traore a forgotted aussie left back.

Would make mv games interesting!

Currently in turkey, turkish contracts seem to mean very little but i doubt we could fit him in the cap

Riley McGree to Melbourne City on a season long loan. It's a shame to see him bounce around in the HAL while on a European contract for a club he will probably never play for. He's definitely young enough to have another couple of shots overseas but history shows it probably means he won't be playing in a top flight league or in the championship in his career.

Berisha off to Japan.

We are also rumored to be interested in signing Bai Antoniou, a 20 year old Sydney FC product currently playing in the NSW NPL. He is a Striker.

Not sure on this. I like our youth investments to be local where possible.

Agree. I'd want him to be head & shoulders above the local options to consider signing him. Anyone know much about him?

We don't need him.

The rumours of Baba leaving have dried up, fortunately, but even if he leaves Antoniou is not his replacement. We then have two back up strikers in Blackwood and Stamatelopoulos, we don't need a third young unproven striker.

Reuniting with his former coach, makes sense but they do have a lot of CBs, perhaps Spiranovic will play DM.

Gol Gol Mebrahtu seems to be leaving his Czech club. If this is true and if Baba leaves then we should try and sign him. Did very well over there but seems to have fallen out with the club after getting a red card early in a cup match and not playing for them after that in the later part of the season.

With Adrian seemingly falling out with Sydney FC, he would surely have to be worth a look
