Strong rumours that De Silva is going to Melbourne city.

Kerem Bulut is a free agent again lol. I wish he had the talent to make him worth the hassle but unfortunately that would require A LOT of talent!

According to the internet Awer Mabils loan is ending.

There were rumours in other seasons we were negotiating a loan move for him, i wonder if this could happen

He is at an age that he should be aiming for the asian cup, regular football in adelaide may be good for him rather than playing for clubs in relegation battles.
I think featuring as heavily as he did this season in the Portuguese top flight is a pretty promising point.
I'd love to see him back and featuring heavily with AU. He left us still so raw, it would be very interesting to see what sort of player returns.
But I think best case scenario for him is that he is afforded the time to make play for first team football back at FCM.

Assuming the rumours about him wanting out of the mariners have some merit...I desperately hope we have a genuine crack at getting Danny De Silva here. I don’t have a lot of belief that we could Get it done but would be perfect to add the creative spark that we so sorely need
There is not room in the squad for De Silva and a visa number 10 unless you don't want a defence.
What do you want De Silva, a visa number 10 or no defence?
My apologies for not making it clear that if we got de Silva to play 10 we wouldn’t then go and sign a foreigner to fill the exact same role...
In my view De Silva does not have the same quality yet that I would hope the club could get from a visa number 10 so it would be a pretty poor decision.

In isolation signing Mabil sounds good but there are already 6 wingers in the squad, surely a 7th would be stupid.

6 wingers and only one is a proven consistent performer.

Mileusenic and kitto should be fighting for one spot on the bench ( as much as i like both of them )

We need quality on both sides, if we can get an aussie to play on the right even better!

Top flight football in portugal has a massive drop off in quality down the table, game time or not is hardly a good situation for a young attacker if his team cannot find the ball.

I agree though, if he can get regular game at his real club then he should stay. But my understanding is he is well down the pecking order there.

If they want to loan him out again he should just come home on loan focus on his game and look to asia for some nig contracts going forward

We seem to have quantity not quality, but having quantity in a small squad means there is no room for more quality. Kurz seems to rate Miluesnic and I hope he can improve again next season.

D'Arrigo??

He's very young but may well be worth the investment.

Franjic is now off contract and is not re signing with Brisbane. Could we be looking at him? Can he play both wingback roles? I'm surprised he's only 30.

Daniel Adlung had a great season.
Bummer he wanted out.

Shame to see him go. He was fantastic in an undermanned team. Would of been good to see what he could do with a decent 10, 9, RW and LW playing all at the same time.

I said this somewhere else but for Adlung to contribute the way he did even if his heart wasn't in it speaks volumes. Great season, great player, seemed like a great fella too.

Apparently Diawara has asked to be released too.

Adlung was released under the condition that he could not sign for another HAL club or a club in Asia.

I'm hoping that Kurz will now know what is required of the players he brings into the HAL now that he has a season under his belt.

Very disappointing if we lose Diawara, quality striker.
