Seems to be bit of talk about Troisi being shopped around. I can understand him moving abroad. Not interested in him move to WSW. I hope the club can stay strong on this.

For the sake of his own reputation I hope he's not silly enough to make another move. Personally, I don't care if he goes or stays. He's occasionally class but not often enough. If he puts in a good year with AU he'll be fondly remembered. If he goes....pffhhht!

Just didn't contribute enough in the deeper role he played in last season. But I think Veart fancies using him further forward. That could perhaps work as a true "10", but I doubt he has the legs to play in the front line or on the flanks anymore.

He's always been a mercenary. It will need a major leopard spot changing exercise for him to stay for less money.

Troisi gone.

Don't let the door hit you on the way out you mercenary snake.

The club better have a replacement lined up too.

Genuinely can't believe people gave him a good reception when he came. He was always gonna do something like that.

Sounds about right. Wouldn't expect anything less from Troisi.

Yeah was never that overjoyed when we got him, only came to us when there were no other options and it felt like he wanted out almost as soon as he signed. He's Bruce's mate so wonder how that all played out...

The two lines that Bruce issued in the press release said it all lol

I think with all the midfielders and forwards we had this season he was going to be keeping out a good player. I don't think he will be missed.

He was on a good wicket here too. We can spend that money a lot better.

One can only wonder what goes through his head....if anything at all.
I'm sure he'll receive a wonderful welcome when he comes back to play against us......

Even by James' standard, this is not a good look.

All the talk when he returned was about settling down with family, new father etc. That only exasperates the foolishness of this decision.

Am sure Val will give it a good spin though 😉

Troisi is a a disgrace. A mercenary with no loyalty to anything or anyone but his own ego, seeya champ.

Val seems to be sticking up for his boy, as he constantly does for his favourites.

Sure the club gave him their blessing to leave, but that was months ago so leaving your hometown club this late in preseason simply to move to another aleague club is a terrible look for him.

I am secretly relieved I dont have to spend the season supporting him I never really accepted him as an aufc player.

I wonder if there is a chance of getting isaias back with the troisi cash. Wouldnt expect him to be up to the same level as previous years but his influence on the younger players would be invaluable in a squad like ours

I am more interested in who we are signing. Apparently Amini is back in Oz and also wondering if Isa may be keen on returning?

Troisi has changed club constantly throughout his career, good on his day but seems to have a lot tickets on himself. I never fully embrace former victory players bar Eugene anyway.
Plus his dad still fights his battles, ignore his best fanboy Val if you want an unbiased opinion too.
