I’d like to see Opseth replaced with some experience, Toure’s are good, but one is 16 while the other has had a few injuries lately. Someone with that experience in the front 3rd would be good
That and a LB would round it out nicely
Bruce did say we are looking at bringing in a striker.

I can’t see us signing another LB but I wouldn’t be surprised if Kamau comes back.

I feel like we have a decent amount of experience all things considered:

Marrone
Mauk
Troisi
Jakobsen
Elsey
Halloran
Strain
Kitto
Timotheou

No doubt we've lost some quality but the core of our squad is still there.

What's Joe doing?
Can't say I'm upset whatever his role is. Good man.

Just imagine the thought processes if Veart were offered the top coaching job today:
Hmm. Stripped down squad. Very young squad. Lockdown. Yippeeeeeeeeeee :D

If anyone were given a chance to genuinely make a name for himself (as opposed to just winning a season or two), it's this one. Personally, I'm glad we've got him.

Charlie Devereux who formerly captained our youth team and won our NYL player of the year award in 17/18 (tied with Isaac Richards) is apparently on trial with Wellington.

I always wondered what happened to him. I presumed he prioritised his study over football.

Val reporting on links between Tomi Juric and a return to Adelaide United.

I presume those "links" would be A-League Memes reposting the original "Juric joins Adelaide United" FFT article from 2013.

Well he just left his Bulgarian club last week.
Striker Tommy Juric left CSKA just days before the derby with Levski on Saturday. This was confirmed to Darik by radio and dsport from the club. The player's contract was terminated by mutual consent.

I would gladly welcome Tomi back.

There really aren't any other better (affordable) options in the free market pool. He didn't become the Viduka regen everyone thought he'd be but I still think he'd be great in the A-League. Hopefully we can get him. I imagine either WSW or SFC will swoop in for him though.

Juric would be a great signing wouldn't he.

The experience and quality we need up top, it's a lot to ask Toure to lead the line all season.

Also worth noting that Val has been VERY reliable recently.

Of course he could be referring to the ALM tweet when he talks about speculation lol
